Wireguard is open source which means its source code is readable and has many developers who understand the code checking it for security flaws. It is written using 4000 lines of code which is very simplified compared with other VPN solutions like OpenVPN which has over 400,000 lines of code. What is Wireguard and is it safe to use?.
